The company said no illnesses have been reported. The products were distributed between June 12 and Aug. 25 to restaurants and grocery wholesalers in Illinois, Kentucky, California and Washington. Details: by phone at 312–738–1893.

Sparboe Farms of Litchfield, Minn., has expanded its recall of X–large, white shell eggs produced by Hillandale Farms and re–packaged by Sparboe Farms because they have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. The affected X–large, white eggs were packaged under the Market Pantry and Sparboe Farms brand name. Hillandale Farmsh has been identified as another possible source of contaminated eggs.
